Beloved, Good Thursday and I pray this midweek finds you blessed, safe and encouraged.
I am excited about both the word and the worship that will take place on Sunday morning. Bishop Gilbert Thompson from Boston, MA will be with us on Sunday morning bringing the word. You don’t want to miss this anointed time and this anointed man of God. Please plan to be here and bring someone with you on Sunday morning.
I want to remind all of you about our clean-up this, Saturday, January 31, 2015 at 8:30 a.m. We will have breakfast together and then move into action cleaning our church facilities. I am asking all leaders to participate in this day of cleaning and repairing the house of God. Please plan now to come and spend some time together working to improve our property.
Also, Brother Joseph’s son funeral service has been scheduled for Saturday 3:00 p.m. at St. James Primitive Baptist Church located 904 Southeast 4th Street (MLK) in Mulberry, Florida. I am encouraging those that will be attending the funeral to be on time for the church cleanup and leave earlier enough to attend the funeral service. Our prayers are with Bro. Joe during this very difficult time of bereavement.
Today, I am asking you to join me in praying for those families in our church who have lost loved ones and need our prayers. Pray for Bro. Roscoe Green family, Rev. Devon Alexis family and Rev. Michael Russell family and all others in the season of sorrow.
Pray for our sick and shut-in who are depending on our prayers. Pray for Evelyn Gyden, Thelma Horton, Bertha Kemp and Evelyn Laster they are out of the hospital but still need our prayers. Pray for our seniors and those who are at home Mother Lee Dessie Burney, Lottie Hamilton, Gladys Whaley, Shirley Sledge, Edith Castro, Hilrie Kemp and Ralph Underwood. Keep praying for Sis. Brenda Burney.
In closing know that I love you, pray for you and that I am glad to be:
