Don’t forget on Sunday, February 22, 2015 each member and Small Group (CELL) is asked to bring a covered dish for our Annual Black History Month Culture Feast. Also, on that Sunday you are encouraged to wear your African attire.
I am asking you to continue praying for those families in our church who have lost loved ones and need our prayers. Pray for Dee Harris and family, Bro. Roscoe Green family, Rev. Devon Alexis family, Bro. Joseph Hansberry family and Rev. Michael Russell family and all others in the season of sorrow.
Pray for our sick and shut-in who are depending on our prayers. Pray for Evelyn Gyden, Bertha Kemp and Evelyn Laster. Pray for our seniors and those who are at home Mother Lee Dessie Burney, Lottie Hamilton, Gladys Whaley, Shirley Sledge, Edith Castro, Hilrie Kemp and Ralph Underwood. Mother Thelma Horton had surgery on Wednesday please keep her in your prayers.
In preparation for the preached word let me encourage you to read Mark chapter 9 verses 17-28 as we discover yet another leg on the journey to “Greater.”
