I pray that this note finds you well and that you have had a blessed and productive week.
I want to encourage you to pray and support our families that are walking through this time of sorrow and grief in their lives. Funeral services for Mary Jackson Travis, The sister of Rev. Ezell Berrien and the aunt of the Berrien family is scheduled for tomorrow, Saturday, May 23, 2015 at 2PM at Bethel Church of God located 4725 Fighter Rod, Bartow, Florida 33830. Funeral services for Mildred Edwards, the mother of Sis. Pam Edwards will be next Saturday May 30, 2015 at 10AM at 34th Street Church of God. Please keep Sis. Pam Edwards in your prayers during this very difficult time. The funeral services for Beverly Jean Martel, the mother of Jerome and Elaine Ramsey has been scheduled for Saturday, May 30, 2015 at 11AM at Serenity Meadows Funeral Home 6919 Providence Road, Riverview, Florida 33569. All of these members are faithful to the church and I asked that we pray for them and attend the services.
I want to encourage you to continue to pray for our members who are walking through grief and loss of their family members. Pray for Sis. Leslie Berrien and Michael Wilson, Elaine and Jerome Ramsey and Mother Butler family. Also, pray for Sis. Pam Edwards mother and Sis. Pam. Pray for Sis. Leola Turner daughter “Cynthia Woods” she is very ill in Boston.
Continue to pray for Sis. Rujel Buggs, Cynthia Woods, the daughter of Sis. Leola Turner. Thank you for your continued prayers for Vannessa Waddel, Brianna Berrien, Deanna Pace and Richard, TruShielda Hankerson, Brenda Burney and Bro. Coffee. Continue to be in prayer for Charlotte Coffee, Kenneth Eubanks, Bertha Kemp, Hilrie Kemp, Janet Jarvis, Ralph Underwood, Dr. Charles Booth and Pastor Bob Mclure. Let us continue to pray for our seniors, sick and those in sorrow . Also, pray for our graduates and thank God for another milestone.
In preparation for the word this Sunday let me encourage you to read the entire chapter of John 21 as we continue our series entitled “Growing In the Gaps.” This Sunday I want to focus on “Vision.” I’ll see you on Sunday and I am excited about our time together in worship.
